OK, it seems like it's fresh produce time here in Blogsville and far be it from me to upset the apple cart. Although I suppose that if I were to upset it, some nice apples might fall off. Red ones. With shades of green. And splashes of yellow. I like the complexity of colors here, particularly the way the greens muddy the reds, making them earthy. So let this be my offering for Thanksgiving, grateful for the gifts received, the blessings given, for this life in all its complexity. May we see through whatever might befog us, may we find the joy that awaits our discovery, and may we have the wisdom to find the value in both.
