This is part of a project " Faces of Savage", where we paint anyone who lives or works in the city of Savage MN for free. They are required to sit for 3 hour and to buy a frame for the painting and all portraits will be exhibited in April 2012 at the Savage Art Gallery
As I painted this beautiful lady I noticed her face kept tilting up. She is wheelchair bound after a sever stroke and so naturally she is looking up most of the time. She is a brave and determined lady who did not let this handicap keep from pursuing her art career.
